Petron Launches Fuel Wise Campaign


The country’s largest and only Filipino-owned fuel retailer, Petron launches the Fuel Wise advocacy which highlights the safety of motorists by ensuring that their vehicles remain in good condition through using high-quality fuels from Petron.

Now seen on cars as part of numerous stickering activities, the Petron Fuel Wise campaign will also make its way on electronic billboards as well as banners and streamers in strategic locations. Key messaging includes:
  • FUEL EFFICIENCY: “Did you know that having the right tire pressure provides less road friction and less road friction means less fuel consumption? Fuel Wise.”
  • FUEL QUALITY: “Cheaper price does not guarantee quality. The few pesos you save today may end up costing you more tomorrow. Fuel Wise.”
  • CONSUMER PROTECTION: “Always ask for your receipt. Fuel Wise.”
The rollout of the Fuel Wise campaign highlights Petron’s commitment to deliver high-quality fuel. Acknowledged as a fuel innovator and trusted source of fuel, Petron has invested two billion US dollars (~ P 104.2 billion) to upgrade its Bataan refinery to ensure that its fuel, while processed locally, exceeds even international standards. And with more than 2,400 retail outlets nationwide, Petron has the widest reach to world-class fuels.
